I have always liked that fence and intend to steal the idea when my miserable picket fence gives up, and interpret it in 6 year old hazel poles...one day

That is such a cool fence. A great solution to the problem.

We tried to put up deer fencing, only to discover that our property has huge rocky outcroppings that extend under the surface and didn't allow us to dig down far enough to properly anchor 7-foot fence posts. Our solution was to build above-ground garden beds that supported their own 7-foot fencing. A bit unusual, but it worked!
