I did once see a three-pronged thingie, with each prong on a cam, so when you pushed it went in vertically over a weed, but when you pulled and heaved, the prongs bit hard onto the weed. I found one on t'nternet, and need to take it to a fixer to fix firmly onto a handle.

I usually get through a head every three years, when I prang a rock and lose a tooth on it for the third time. Sometimes the handle screw works a bit loose so it swivels, but easily fixed. I wouldn't be without it. You can buy new heads on their own, but they aren't much cheaper than a whole one

Is the Golden Gark really as strong as they claim? We've been through a few similar tools.
